// CONFIGURATIONS
Two flange configurations
Rubber expansion joints are available with two flange connection designs. The choice depends on the installation method and system requirements.
CONFIGURATION A · ROTATING FLANGE
Rotating flange (loose)
The flange is not permanently bonded to the rubber body and rotates freely around the neck. This allows the bolt holes to be aligned with the pipeline flange during installation.
- Easy bolt-hole alignment
- Faster installation in confined spaces
- Standard for water, wastewater and HVAC systems
- Easy installation
- Loose flange
- Full DN range
CONFIGURATION B · FIXED FLANGE
Non-rotating flange (fixed)
The flange is embedded in the expansion joint body in a fixed position. It is used where a rigid, repeatable connection position or tie-rod compatibility is required.
- Fixed, repeatable connection position
- Compatible with tie rods
- Recommended for higher pressures and forces
- Fixed position
- Fixed flange
- Full DN range

Design features
Movement in three axes
Accommodates axial, lateral and angular movement as well as pump and fan vibration.
Pipeline protection
Reduces noise and vibration while relieving loads on flanges, pumps and pipe supports.
Complete range of configurations
From DN32 to DN3000, including multi-arch, reducing and vacuum designs manufactured to order.
// ACCESSORIES
Expansion joint accessories
Accessories selected for the expansion joint and operating conditions to improve safety and connection life.
Tie rods
Rods limiting excessive extension or compression under pressure. They protect systems without adequate anchors.
Protective cover
An external cover protecting the bellows from welding sparks, UV radiation and mechanical damage.
Steel flanges
Connecting flanges in galvanised carbon steel or stainless steel, available as rotating or fixed designs.
// Accessories are selected together with the expansion joint. Specify the required set in your enquiry.
