A monitoring layer connected to the SEKK system is built into the expansion joint bellows.

The system continuously tracks the condition and wear of the inner layer.

When the wear threshold is reached, SEKK signals the risk locally or remotely in the control room.

The expansion joint can be replaced in advance, before leakage and failure occur.
